The Persian Ironwood (Parrotia persica) is a unique, compact tree known for its spectacular autumn colors, making it ideal for small gardens, patios, bonsai, or wall training. Reaching 3-4 meters over ten years, it displays vibrant autumn foliage in shades of yellow, orange, and purple, typically starting in late October and lasting through early winter. Its bark resembles that of a London Plane, with older bark peeling to reveal colorful patches of pink, cinnamon, and yellow. The tree’s new growth is reddish-purple, and mature leaves are large with serrated edges. Flowers appear on bare stems before spring.
All our trees are 6-10 foot high in 5ltr pots, price includes a wooden stake and tree tie.
